Since I went on hiatus, blogging just hasn't been a priority. I apoligize to all three of my loyal readers. There's been a lot of drama in my life during the past week, all work related of course. Not sure I'm ready to go into too much detail just yet. Just suffice to say that I'm not spending any of my time at my regular job and instead I'm working full time at the ER. There's a whole process going on, and until the details are worked out, there isn't a whole lot to say. Nothing happened on transport, there's nothing reportable to the board of nursing, it's just me and my boss in a bit of a power struggle and as the manager, she's currently winning. Not happy about the situation, but it is what it is, and hopefully it will all be worked out soon.
Spent the weekend in Jersey, the only bright spot during the past week. The kids are great as always, and super excited about Halloween. Charlie is going to be Avatar, and Sarah will be Abby Kadabby. I have no idea who/what Avatar is, but Abby is from Sesame Street. Don't think that I'll be dressing up this year, but you never know. The kids have a halloween parade at the hospital on friday, which should be fun.
The highlight of my day so far has been transferring all my pics to the backup hard drive Tommy got me. Surprised I figured it out since I tend to fail at all things involving technology. If I can retrieve them in the future, it'll be a small miracle. Surprisingly enough, the device did not come with any instructions, but if you plug it in to the laptop, the tutorial pops up.
