April began with Annie and I trekking south to welcome Tommy home from Afghanistan.
The trip was uneventful until we hit North Carolina and managed to lock the keys in the car. Thank goodness I got a AAA membership for Christmas.
Probably shouldn't drive and take photos, oh well. It's one of my faves.
The next morning, we drove to base to meet Tommy. The gear arrived before the Marines did. I have to say, that Marines wives sure do doll themselves up at these homecoming celebrations. Annie and I especially enjoyed the two girls who came dressed like strippers with a cake and a 24 pack of bud light.
And finally...there he is in formation. Our Tommy.
